Mithraeum in the village Močići is a unique example of so called spelei - in situ Mithraic cult shrine, dated at the end of the 3rd century. The worship of Indo-Iranian divinity of the Sun and the light was brought by Roman soldiers whose cohorts were located not far from the shrine. Above the entrance of the cave, carved into the bedrock is the standard depiction of Mithraeum: Mitras killing of the sacred bull, the symbolism of the birth of a new life.
