On Thursday, March 24, a lecture was held at the House Bukovac on the occasion of marking 2022 as the 100th anniversary of the death of Vlaho Bukovac. Museum pedagogue Petra Kralj Fox spoke about the monumental painting "Jesus, Friend of the Little Ones". All those present had the opportunity to hear many interesting facts about the origin and fate of this monumental painting painted by Vlaho Bukovac in Paris in 1888. The same year painting was exhibited at the Paris Salon and received special recognition. Since then it traveled to England, where it was exhibited at the church of St. Robert in Harrogate. In the 1980s the painting was brought to Zagreb, while today it is permanently exhibited in the Franciscan monastery in Tomislavgrad.
