On Thursday, July 28 at 7 PM in the House Bukovac, as a part of the program that commemorates the 100th anniversary of Vlaho Bukovac’s death, senior museum curator Helena Puhara held thematic guidance with an emphasis on the Collection of furniture and household items.
The House Bukovac in its Collection of furniture and household items preserves over 200 pieces of museum material consisting of different types of furniture, dishes, painting equipment - easels, paint boxes, palettes, brushes, textiles, musical instruments, gilding equipment, chests, and some small, personal items.
All these various objects speak of the culture of living through the 19th and early 20th centuries and are a mosaic of stories about Bukovac's European living and working spaces, which this time were brought to life through a slightly different prism of Bukovac's everyday life.
