Konavle county museum was proud to be the host of the first concert of the youngest tambourine group of Folklore society Čilipi and their guests, klapa (a cappella group) Zračna luka. Manager of the young musicians Ivan Vlašić prepared for this occasion a diverse program of local dances and songs including Dalmatian and Slavonian traditional songs. At the end of the concert, the two groups performed together a famous song about Konavle, accompanied by the audience. The young tambourine group from Čilipi have been practicing for three years now and this concert is their crown work. Soon they will start to perform with an older group at traditional Sunday folklore performances in front of the St. Nicholas’s church in Čilipi.
