Every May museums all over the world celebrate International museum day organising various interesting programs. For 2018 the International museum day topic was Hiper connected museums, new aproaches, new audiences. Amongst other activities in Museums and galleries of Konavel the Department of archaeology promoted two heritage sites through two approaches: audio and visual. Audio guide for historical and natural site of River Ljuta that can be freely downloaded to all visitor`s appliances and visual 3D photogrammetry of UNESCO St Barbara site. Audio guide was designed and adopted for wide audience by curators of Museums and galleries of Konavle with intention to promote and preserve cultural richness of Konavle.
National organizers of this manifestation found this project interesting and thus invited representatives of the museum to come to attend Press conference and promote the project on Thursday, May 17th in MDC (Museum documentation center) in Zagreb.
