Organized by the Museums and Galleries of Konavle on Sunday 1st of October 2017 the White Council, final meeting of The Best in Heritage International conference was set up. The White Council is an informal closing event that has the task to capitalise the best examples of the Conference and to affirm trends and currents in heritage practices.
The working part of the program was held in the House of weapons on Sokol castle where the central Committee of the Conference, moderators and last year's winners interchanged their conclusions to contribute to the excellence of museum practices and to capitalise on the innovative trends within which the efforts of museums and heritage programs throughout the world are being developed. The Moderator of discourse was the Chairman of the Conference John Sell, executive Vice President of Europa Nostra, Chairman of the National Heritage Associations by English Law (Committee of National Amenity Societies) and President of the Historic Environment Forum for England.
