In House Bukovac on the 4^th of July 2019 with various program activities Museums and Galleries of Konavle celebrated the 164^th Anniversary of the birth of Vlaho Bukovac (1855 – 1922). On the occasion, a theatre workshop for children called Fairy world of Vlaho Bukovac was held. It was a workshop were children developed their creativity and imagination preparing for a play in which Bukovac’s fairy world was presented.

Later that day, after the expert guidance through current exhibition Vlaho Bukovac and Jaroslav Čermak – The Idea of art in the 19^th century Croatia, the project of digitization of autobiographical texts by Vlaho Bukovac was presented. Digitization of autobiographical texts is just a part of a wider Museums and Galleries of Konavle Digitization Program. The project was financially assisted by the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Croatia, while company Link2 expertly designed an interactive web platform for the presentation of digitized materials. The main current content of the platform is Vlaho Bukovac’s autobiography, in conjunction with the original manuscripts, museum objects and museum documentation. The indescribable value of Vlaho Bukovac's manuscript and the archival collection and materials through digitization will become available to citizens, students, experts, artists and all other interested individuals.

With this project, Museums and Galleries of Konavle in line with their capabilities, took the step forward with new technologies and development of new museum audiences.
