On Monday, 7 October 2019, at 7 PM, the public presentation “Description of the Konavle Speech – Non-Material Heritage of Konavle” was held in the Matica hrvatska house in Gruda, which was presented by Petra Dominik. The non-material heritage of Konavle was used as basis for the presentation of the wealth of the Konavle speech, the research possibilities, and the importance of this insufficiently researched area, which is a part of the identity of every resident of Konavle. After the presentation, there was a short discussion on the topic of Konavle speech, and a small party for all the guests. Petra Dominik is a graduate croatologist and linguist, and she works at the Museums and Galleries of Konavle as a documentarist and language editor.
