Miniatures of Konavle wisdom, i.e. Konavle proverbs, which are only a small, but significant part of Konavle oral literature, were presented on February 4th in Tours to a large audience at a roundtable called Valorization of Intangible Heritage. Petra Dominik, the representative of the Konavle’s museum and galleries, presented the results of the collection of intangible heritage that began thanks to the Erasmus + project, ProEUverb. Through 2019, Konavle’s museum and galleries collected Konavle’s proverbs and, as project coordinators, in collaboration with partners from Finland and Portugal, prepared material for the platform that will be the result of this project.
This time the ProEUverb project and Konavle's rich intangible heritage was presented in Tours where the third national meeting of the second Erasmus + project called Part-Her was held, in which the municipality of Konavle was involved. The meeting took place from 3rd to 6th February, the intangible heritage of the project participants was presented by numerous programs, namely, the municipalities of Kassel, Linköping and Denia, as well as the coordinators, the cities of Parma and Tours, with the Municipality of Konavle. The introductory meetings presented the results of the Part-Her project so far, followed by concrete examples of the evaluation of intangible heritage at a roundtable attended by Loic Bienassis, with moderator Dr. Lorenzo Kihlgren Grandi (Sciences-Po - Paris School of International Affairs) (European Institute for the History and Cultures of Food - IEHCA), Deputy Mayor of Tours Jérôme Tébaldi, Representative of the Department of Culture of the City of Parma Dr. Flora Raffa and Representative of the Konavale’s museum and galleries Petra Dominik presenting the results of the ProEUverb project, Miniatures of Konavle’s Wisdom. After the presentations, a discussion was held on possible solutions to the problems encountered in preserving and presenting the intangible heritage and on the possibilities of its branding.
