On Thursday, May 27, in Konavle County Museum, we were visited by the 3^rd graders from the Čilipi Regional School. The 3^rd graders met our two “generations” of mulberry silkworms and saw the process of skin sheding and cocoon making. Apart from silk production, the 3^rd graders were also interested in wool. Thus, our museum pedagogue explained the process of making woollen objects, dyeing the thread, the geometry of the Konavle embroidery etc. Afterwards, we had no shortage of questions from our visitors, and we can’t wait for their next curious visit!
