Today, our Konavle County Museum was visited by children from Čilipi Kindergarten. The children met the silkworms and saw the process of making silk threads, from eggs of silkworms to the process of making cocoons. Part of the children fed the silkworms with small pieces of mulberry leaves, while the other group cleaned silkworm beds by taking the cocoons from Spanish broom branches and storing them in bags. With helpers like this, there is no fear for our silkworms and silk!
