The first international meeting of the Erasmus+ project Transnational History – Transnational Approaches and Multiperspective Methods in the Teaching of History was held in Konstanz in Germany from September 30 to October 2, 2021. The coordinators of the meeting were partners from Germany Sprachendienst Konstanz, while other than Museums and Galleries of Konavle Norrköpings Stadsmuseum, partners from Sweden, Instytut Toleranci w Lodzi, partners from Poland and Forschungzentrum für historische Mindeheiten, partners from Austria, participated at the meeting. The curator and historian Marko Vodopija presented the Museums and Galleries of Konavle.
Museums and Galleries of Konavle are participating in the project as a partner with the theme of Konavle during the Second World War, which studies the relationship between the people of Konavle and the Italian authorities in the period from 1941 to 1943. The study is based on the available literature and inquiries of narrators who lived during that period. The project aims to present historical events from several aspects based on interviews.
At the meeting, the partners presented their previous research, and further research and methods were agreed upon. It was also decided that during the end of the project one of the results of the project will be presented at the future exhibition in Konavle County Museum.
