The Museums and Galleries of Konavle are launching a campaign to raise funds for the purchase of „Konavle Weavers“, a painting by Vlaho Bukovac which is currently on the market. „Konavle Weavers“ (14 x 17.28 cm) is a smaller format painting depicting two women and a man in Konavle folk costume around a loom. It was most likely painted during Bukovac's last visit to Cavtat in 1920. The goal is to raise HRK 75,000 in the next 75 days, until the birthday of Vlaho Bukovac on July 4, 2022. 

We invite you to help with your contribution so that we can raise sufficient funds and bring this little pearl of Bukovac back home, to Konavle.
