On Wednesday, May 4, the Museums and Galleries of Konavle started a program of educational cooperation with the Home for the Elderly “Konavle” in Gruda. Through the lecture "Representations of Konavle women in Bukovac's Paintings", held by our museum pedagogue Maris Stanović, the participants got acquainted with Bukovac's opus of ethnographic motifs. Through various representations of Konavle women, from portraits, figures in the open air, genre scenes, and allegorical representations, the participants were introduced to the artistic, social, and personal context of their origin.

We are looking forward to future museum meetings at the Home for the Elderly "Konavle".
