On Saturday, October 22, at the Cavtat Cultural Center, on the occasion of marking the 30th anniversary of the liberation of Konavle, Museums and Galleries of Konavle held the presentation of the monograph Photographed by Tomo Žanetić, edited by Lidija Crnčević. In this book, for the first time, photographs from Cavtat and Konavle that Tomo Žanetić took during the occupation in secret and at great risk of his own life were published. Thanks to his photographs, real information about the situation in the occupied territory of Konavle reached Dubrovnik during the war. Modest and self-effacing, the author Tomo Žanetić never asked for, nor did he experience, that we as a community should repay him. Therefore, we decided to leave for the future a collection containing photographs of Cavtat and Konavle during the Croatian War of Independence on this great anniversary of the liberation.
