On Friday, November 11, the curator of the Museums and Galleries of Konavle, Jelena Beželj, participated in the workshop CROATIAN DIVING TOURISM: CHALLENGES AND POTENTIAL at the Croatian Maritime Museum in Split. This workshop was held as a part of the EU project WRECKS4ALL - Protection of underwater heritage through digitalization and valorization as a new form of tourism offers. Various speakers were gathered, on the topic of diving tourism in the Republic of Croatia and the destination management of diving sites. Among them, curator Beželj presented the BLUEMED Centre in the Department of Archaeology in Pridvorje as an example of good practice, which stimulated reflection on the valorization of underwater cultural heritage and its tourist potential, achievable through new digital technologies.
